While leading her project Ceci est une rencontre – a joint improvisation project between a dancer and a musician who meet on stage – Marthe Krummenacher crossed paths with multifaceted singer Chloé Bieri. It was love at first sight: Bieri’s voice had an amazing impact on her dance, which no other instrument had been able to produce until then. For this creation, 62 radio sets from various eras are spread out on stage in order to engulf the audience. The soundscape is designed like daily hubbub, a mixture of flow of information and artistic accounts, through which the two performers move. An ode to sensitivity, sensuality and the fluidity of movement and voice, Opus Air Box is a unique encounter between two artists who have both turned their bodies into instruments for their art.
